DivX Player is shareware software that provides us all the necessary to create and reproduce videos in our PC or in another device. This software of reproduction multimedia supports innumerable formats and in addition it has sinfín of codecs that allows us to reproduce the totality of the formats and compressions that you can find.

The Reproducer

DivX Player has in its interface different elements well organized, we will be able then to divide the screen in 4 well defined modules:
1- Menu bar: Have different basic menus to open files, establish the set up and ask for help.
2- The central part of the screen in which we will be able to see not only the reproduction video, but also the list and the downloadings we have made.
3- Reproduction Controls: allow to handle all the reproduction aspects like start, slowing down, stop, advance, go to the full size screen, raise or lower the volume, add subtitles and more.
4- Burning disc: this module is destined to the CD or DVD burnt with movies inside. In the screen will always appear the instructions to use it.

Reproducing a video

In order to begin with the video reproduction we have many options. The easiest one is by dragging the video we want to reproduce to the program so that the reproduction begins automatically. Another way to do it is by going to the menu File -> Open, so that in a window we can look for and open the file. We can also access this window be possible by clicking on the down button that is to the left in the reproduction controls.
Burn disc

DivX Player gives us the possibility to burn in a CD or DVD our favorite videos, in order to do that, we will need to give an empty disc to the recorder, drag and drop the video in this part of the screen, and finally to click on Burn.
